Based on the composition of the substance (Mg3K[AlF2O(SiO3)3]) a mutagenic potential of Fluorphlogopite was not expected.
This was confirmed by 3 in vitro studies which were all negative (not mutagenic). All studies were GLP compliant and of high quality (Klimisch score = 1). There is no reason to believe that these results would not be applicable to humans.
Justification for selection of genetic toxicity endpoint
No study was selected, since all three in vitro studies were negative.
