Bacterial mutagenicity assay: EPA FIFRA 84-2 equivalent to OECD 471.
No substantial increases in revertant colony numbers of any of the five tester strains were observed following treatment with sodium bromide at any dose level, either in the presence or absence of metabolic activation.
No evidence of mutagenic potential was apparent from this test at the dose levels used.
