Based on available information, the substance is not bioaccumulativeand not toxic.Reading across from the fast resp. moderate rates of hydrolysis of n-Butyl Glycidyl Ether (CAS No. 2426-08-6) at pH 4 resp. pH 7, it is concluded, that the persistence potential of 2-Ethylhexyl glycidyl ether (EC# 219-553-6) is low. Thus it can be concluded the substance dose not meet the criteria of PBT or vPvB category.
