Description of key information

4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one examined for toxicity to soil microorganism Beauveria bassiana on the basis of effect on reproduction for 24 hrs. at dose concentration gave an estimated LOEL of 3848.196 mg/L. This is considered to be a high value and hence 4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one is not expected to exhibit toxicity to soil micro-organisms

Key value for chemical safety assessment
