- Definitive test results:
The mean peak areas relating to the standard and sample solutions for the C17 components are shown in table 2.
The mean peak areas relating to the standard and sample solutions for the C22 components are shown in table 3.
Calibration curves from the sample concentrations were interpolated. As the detector response drifted during the analysis, Sample 1 used the first set of standards, Sample 2 used both sets of standards and Sample 3 used the last set of standards.
The concentration (g/l) of test material in the sample solutions are shown in table 4.
Mean Results:
Mean concentration for C17 components: 6.84 x 10-3 g/l at 20.0 ± 0.5°C
Range for C17 components: 6.08 x 10-3 to 7.67 X 10-3 g/l
Mean concentration for C22 components: 1.78 X 10-4 g/l at 20.0 ± 0.5°C
Range for C22 components: 1.54 x 10-4 to 2.06 x 10-4 g/l
Any other information on results incl. tables
Preliminary test results:
The preliminary estimate of water solubility was 2.60 x 10-3 g/l for the C17 components and 9.45 x 10-5 g/l for the C22 components.
Definitive test:
The mean peak areas relating to the standard and sample solutions for the C17 and C22 components were calculated.
Calibration curves from the sample concentrations were interpolated. As the detector response drifted during the analysis, Sample 1 used the first set of standards, Sample 2 used both sets of standards and Sample 3 used the last set of standards.
The concentration (g/l) of test material in the sample solutions is shown in the following table:
