Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First aid assistant: pay attention to self-protection!
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes, call a physician.
After skin contact: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Alter eyes contact: Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers. Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes
After ingestion: Call a physician. Wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious.
In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable: CO2-, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam. Extinguishing materials should be selected according to the surrounding area.
Special hazard: Do not allow water used to extinguish fire to enter drains or waterways. Collect this water separately and hold for waste disposal.
Advice for fire-fighters: respiratory mask, protecting clothes
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid inhalation and contact using security goggles, protective clothes, mask and gloves. Avoid generation of dust.
Environmental precautions: Sweep up soon, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal.
Cleaning procedures: Clean-up in wet condition to avoid producing dust. Don’t use a brush or compressed air for cleaning surfaces or clothing.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid dust breathing. Avoid dust producing. Avoid repeated or extended contact with skin. Use only in well ventilated areas, or with local suction. Open with care, to avoid generation of dust. Do not eat, drink or smoke at the workplace.
Conditions for safe storage: Keep closed in the original container protected from heat and from direct sun.
Specific end uses:Manufacturing of API for pharmaceutical specialties. Observe instructions for use.

Additional information
- Special provisions / remarks / other:
- Not regulated as dangerous under transport regulations.
Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls: The product should only be handled by persons who were informed sufficiently about the dangerous nature of the product and about the necessary safety precautions.
Individual protection measures:
Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Respiratory protection: dust mask P3
Hand protection: gloves
Eye protection: safety glasses
Skin protection: protective clothes
Environmental exposure controls
Avoid release to the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: The product is stable.
Conditions to avoid: Product is not dust explosive in its original delivery form. The addition of particulate matter, however, results in a dust explosion risk.
Incompatible materials: Strong acids or bases. Reducing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: under normal conditions there are no dangerous decomposition products.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods: Waste disposal according to EC Directives 75/442/EEC and 91/689/EEC on waste and hazardous waste in their latest versions. Non-contaminated packing must be recycled or disposed of.
