Additional information

According to an EPIWin calculation (AOP v1.92) the substance is expected to photodegrade by reaction with OH-radicals with a half-life of about 13.271 hours taking into account a 24-h day and a mean OH radical concentration of 0.5E06 radicals per cm³ (BASF SE, 2010).

A hydrolysis study is technically not feasible (see CIBA-GEIGY study No. KA-85/14C, 1986). Furthermore, in Annex I of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, it is laid down that a hydrolysis study does not need to be conducted if the substance is highly insoluble in water. Since the test substance has a low water solubility (water solubility < 0.499 mg/L), information on hydrolysis is not provided.
