Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

start of melting: 245°C
start of decomposition: 225°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
245 °C

Additional information

The test material started to decompose at 225°C. At 1 °C/min, melting started at about 245°C and at 255°C the test material was black and there was evidence for gas formation. Higher heating rates resulted in higher melting rates which was argued to be due to higher degree of decomposition products. With a heating rate of 1°C/min the melting point was 245°C under test conditions.

This study is considered relevant for the further assessment of the registered substance.
