Exposure controls / personal protection

8.2 Exposure controls

Engineering measures: Maintain exposures below applicable exposure limits:

Personal Protection Equipment

Industrial hygiene measures: Keep in clean conditions. Avoid dust formation. Don`t eat, drink or

smoke before changing clothes, washing hands when using

Respiratory protection: The use of an approved dust respirator is recommended. A

respirator must be used if the dust concentration is likely to exceed

the Occupational exposure limit. At concentrations above limit

wear particle filter DIN 3181-P2.

Hand protection: Prolonged exposure should be avoided by wearing suitable

protective gloves and clothing.

In full contact:

Glove material: nitrile rubber

Layer thickness: 0.11 mm

Breakthrough time: > 480 Min

In splash contact:

Glove material: nitrile rubber

Layer thickness 0.11 mm

Breakthrough time: > 480 Min

Eye protection: The use of an approved dustproof goggles is recommended if the

dust concentration is likely to exceed the Occupational exposure

limit

Skin protection: Suitable protective clothing

Stability and reactivity

Stable under normal use conditions

Disposal considerations

Waste

Dispose of in accordance with local and national regulations. Dilute with plenty of water. Neutralise with acid. Use a solution of sodium or magnesiumsulphate or possibly a dilute solution of sulphuric acid to form a sulphate precipitate.

Dispose of wastes in an approved waste disposal facility.
