Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Gerneral Information:First aider: Pay attention to self-protection! When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice. After Inhalation:Provide fresh air.In case of respiratory irritation, dizziness, nausea or unconsciousness, immediately get medical attention. After contact with skin:After contact with skin, wash immediately with: Water and soap. In case of skin irritation, seek medical treatment. If necessary, change contaminated clothing. After contact with eyes:Remove contact lenses. If product gets into the eye, keep eyelid open and rinse immediately with large quantities of water, for at least 5 minutes. Subsequently consult an ophthalmologist. After Ingestion:Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray. Foam. Extinguishing powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).Unsuitable extinguishing media: High power water jet.Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:In case of fire may be liberated: Nitrogen oxides (NOx). Carbon monoxide. Pyrolysis products, toxicAdvice for firefighters:Co-ordinate fire-fighting measures to the fire surroundings. Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Wear personal protection equipment.Environmental precautions:Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil.Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:Absorb with liquid-binding material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents).Collect in closed containers for disposal.Clear contaminated areas thoroughly. Cleaners: Water. Ethanol.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling:Keep container tightly closed. Provide adequate ventilation. Consider the usual precautions for handling chemicals.Advice on protection against fire and explosion:Keep away from sources of ignition. - No smoking. Floors should be impervious, resistant to liquids and easy to clean.Requirements for storage rooms and vessels:Store in a cool dry place. Storage temperature: 7-21°CAdvice on storage compatibility:Materials to avoid: Oxidizing agents. Strong alkali

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls:Provide adequate ventilation. Provide protection equipment (eye wash bottles, etc.).Protective and hygiene measures:Consider the usual precautions for handling chemicals.Remove contaminated, saturated clothing immediately. Protect skin by using skin protective cream. After work, wash hands and face. When using do not eat or drink.Eye/face protection:Tightly sealed safety glasses.Hand protection:When handling with chemical substances, protective gloves must be worn with the CE-label including the four control digits. The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances. Forspecial purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentionedabove together with the supplier of these gloves.Tested protective gloves are to be worn: Suitable material: NBR (Nitrile rubber). (penetration time(maximum wearing period): <=6h; Thickness of glove material: >=0,11mm)Skin protection:Protective clothingRespiratory protection:If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient , respiratory protection mustbe worn. Filtering Half-face mask (DIN EN 149).
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:No dangerous reactivity under regular conditions.Chemical stability:The product is stable under regular conditions.Possibility of hazardous reactions:No dangerous reactions to be expected if used properly.Conditions to avoid:Materials to avoid: Oxidizing agents. Alkalis (alkalis), concentrated.Incompatible materials:none knownHazardous decomposition products:When used properly no hazardous products of decomposition are expected.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation. According to EAKV, allocation of waste identity numbers/waste descriptions must be carried out in a specific way for every industry and process.
