Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
breathing is impaired.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of tap water for approx. 15 min. Seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes and clean before re-use. Rinse
with plenty of tap water for approx. 15 min; in addition,
use soap. Seek medical attention in the unlikely event
that irritation should occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
exposed closed containers), carbon dioxide, or dry powder
can be used.
Product arising from burning: Carbon oxide, carbon dioxide, water.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Protect respiratory tract with related equipment.
Accidental release measures
material immediately with inert materials such as sand or
earth. Use plastic or aluminum shovel to transfer diluted
waste material into appropriate containers and place those
to a closed container for disposal; totally dispose of
according to EU, national and local regulations (authorized
waste processing: deposit or combustion).
While taking up the substance, prevent skin and eye contact
as well as inhalation of it. For this purpose, wear the
personal protective equipment described under "handling".
Handling and storage
by skin contact with the substance is minimized. Eye contact
with the substance should be avoided. As far as possible,
closed or at least splashproof equipment should be used
during filling and metered feeding as well as during
sampling.
Minimize generation of airborne particles by handling the
substance only at specified sites of the factory. Avoid
breathing substance aerosols.
To avoid skin contact, tested protective gloves (e.g. :::)
and, if applicable, suitable protective clothing (e.g. :::)
must be worn. The wearing of safe eye protection (e.g. :::)
is recommended. Adequate washing facilities should be
available in the immediate vicinity of the work area. After
skin contact, the affected parts of the skin shoud be
cleaned thoroughly using (:::). Skin-protection and
skin-care measures are recommended.
Storage: No special precautions necessary for storage: substance is
imported and packed in closed cans. Keep storage container
closed.
Store in a moderately cool, dry, well-ventilated area away
from direct sources of heat. Empty cans may contain product
residues and should be handled appropriately. Position the
cans in that way that the labeling information is visible.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Imported as a technical grade active ingredient as the
straight chemical (no formulations are imported):
18 kg can as packaging unit.

- Remarks:
- Transport: Transport the substance packed in the closed can.
For the internal transportation:
Use original containers or other unbreakable and correctly
labelled containers. Keep containers tightly closed and
secure by suitable measures against falling down.
