Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If signs/symptoms develop, get
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with large amounts of water. If signs/symptoms
persist, get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. If signs/symptoms
develop, get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical
personnel. Give victim two glasses of water. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical
attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Non-combustible. Choose material suitable for surrounding
fire.
Product arising from burning: None known.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Water may be used to blanket the fire. Wear full protective
equipment (Bunker Gear) and a self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Ventilate the area with fresh air. Contain spill. For larger
spills, cover drains and build dikes to prevent entry into
sewer systems or bodies of water. Working from around the
edges inward, cover with bentonite, vermiculite, or
commercially available inorganic absorbent material. Mix in
sufficient absorbent until it appears dry. Collect as much
of the spilled material as possible. Clean up residue with
detergent and water. Collect the resulting residue
containing solution. Place in a closed container approved
for transportation by appropriate authorities. Dispose of
collected material as soon as possible.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash
exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water. Avoid
breathing of vapors, mists or spray. Use general dilution
ventilation and/or local exhaust ventilation to control
airborne exposures to below Occupational Exposure Limits. If
ventilation is not adequate, use respiratory protection
equipment. Avoid skin contact. Do not breathe thermal
decomposition products.
Storage: Store away from areas where product may come into contact
with food or pharmaceuticals.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 5 kg glass bottle
15 kg pail
270 kg drums
