Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Take the victim out of the contaminated area. Move to fresh air. Make the victim blow his nose. Seek medical advice.
Skin contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Make the victim rinse his mouth with water. Seek medical advice immediately
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons: Strong water jet.
Specific hazards: In case of fire, the product may emit toxic and/or irritating fumes. Supposed thermal decomposition/oxidation: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Hydrogen chloride (HCl)
Protection during intervention: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full protective suit.
Further information: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Avoid rejection of extinguishing water in the environment.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Avoid any spreading of product.
Methods for cleaning
up/taking up: Sweep and shovel the solid product in a container adapted for its recovery or destroying (avoiding dust formation). Close and label
rigorously.
Cleaning of contaminated zone : After taking up the product, rinse the polluted area with water.
Elimination of recovered materials: Deliver to Environmental service of the factory or to any specialized and approved disposal service.
Further information: Intervention of special services recommended.
Handling and storage
The intermediate is completely transformed in another product and no residue is released.
Sampling, analysis, storage, loading and unloading of equipment, cleaning and waste disposal are managed under exhaust ventilation to prevent any significant release of the substance.
During these process workers follow the internal procedure and wear appropriate PPE.
Only trained and authorised personnel handle the substance. The workers are provided with training and with a "safety sheet" for each substance they use; this sheet contains the procedures during the normal handling and during the malfunctioning of the process and in accidental situations with the actions to be taken in order to safeguard themselves and other workers at the workplace.
Access to all safety data sheet is provided for all workers.
Advice on safe handling (workshop): Local ventilation and emission point extraction. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic loading.
Render equipment and apparatus inert (nitrogen, inert gases).
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep only in the original container
Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed and dry. Protect from light. Keep away from heat.
