Results and discussion

Preliminary study:
In the preliminary test (submitted as part of the base set notification), at pH 4.0 the test substance underwent <50% hydrolysis in 2.4 hours and >10% hydrolysis over 5 days at 50°C. No hydrolysis was observed at pH 7.0 and pH 9.0 @ 50C over 5 days.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Calculation of a half-life was not possible, but analysis showed that the substance underwent partial hydrolysis, 42% by 234 hr at 50°C, 48.5% at 333 hr at 60°C and 48.8% at 333 hr at 70°C. The hydrolysis products(s) were not determined.
