Three studies on the aquatic toxicity of L-TEE have been conducted:

L-TEE was tested according to the OECD 203 (with Danio rerio). Based on the obtained results, the LC10 and LC50 are given as > 2,000 mg/L.

L-TEE was tested according to the OECD 202 (with Daphnia magna) which is further specified in the ISO International Standard

Based on the otained results, the EC10 and EC50 (48 hours) are given as >1,460 mg/L (estimated actual concentration) based on

TOC analysis.

L-TEE was tested according to the OECD 201 (with Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata), which is further specified in the ISO International Standard 8692. NOEC for the growth rate was 500 mg/L. EC10 was 1,118 mg/L and EC50 was >2,000 mg/L.
