Executive summary:

Introduction

The study was conducted to determine the density and relative density of the test substance. The method used was designed to meet the requirements of the following guidelines:

  • EC Guideline A.3. Relative Density. March 04, 2016.
  • OECD Guideline 109. Density of Liquids and Solids. October 2, 2012.
  • EPA Product Properties Test Guideline OPPTS 830.7300: Density/Relative Density/ Bulk Density. June 2002.

Method

The density and relative density of the test item were determined using a gas comparison steropycnometer. Prior to the test on the day of measurement the validity of the gas comparison pycnometer was verified using a calibration ball with a known volume of 14.36886 cm3.

Results

The results of the tests on the determination of the density of the test item are given in the table below:

The individual measurements were obtained with an accuracy of < 0.02 g/cm3. According to the guideline, the density of the test item is given as the mean value.
