Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move affected person to fresh air. In case of irritation of
respiratory system or mucous membranes, in case of
indisposition or prolonged exposure, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. In
case of eye irritation, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Do not use organic
solvents.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Affected person should drink 500-800 ml water, if possible
with suspended activated carbon for medical use. In case of
spontaneous vomiting be sure that can freely drain because
of danger of soffocation. Give water repeatedly. Artificial
induction of vomiting should be restricted to first aid
staff. Give nothing by mouth in case of unconsciousness or
convulsions. Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam, water mist.
Product arising from burning: Decomposition and combustion products may be toxic.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Use protective clothing for chemicals and self-contained
breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep or vacuum and place into sealable container for
disposal. Wear protective equipement as specified below.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Do not inhale.
Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not cause dusting
during handing and processing.
Wash thoroughly after handing and before eating, drinking or
using tobacco products.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed when not in use and during
transport.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Polyethylene fused lined cardboard cylinder of 50 kg
content.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: There is no possibility of recovery of the substance. After
being used the substance is incinerated.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method at a suitable facility using temperature
above 1200 C. Waste gas treatment to remove oxides of
nitrogen should be fitted.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not available.
