First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: If signs/symptoms occur, remove person to fresh air. If

signs/symptoms continue, call a physician.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush the eyes with large amounts of water. Get

immediate medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin with large amounts of water. If irritation

persists, get medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Call a physician immediately. If swallowed, induce vomiting

immediately as directed by medical personnel.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: water, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam

Product arising from burning: CO, CO2, oxides of sulfur, HF

Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing, including helmet, self

contained, positive pressure or pressure demand breathing

apparatus, bunker coat and pants, bands around arms, waist

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Ventilate area. Vacuum, use wet sweeping compound or water

to avoid dusting. (Caution: a vacuum cleaner could be an

ignition source).

Clean up residue with water.

Place spill in a closed container and dispose of via

incineration.

Handling: Use with appropriate local exhaust ventilation. Use in a

well ventilated area. If exhaust ventilation is not adequat,

use respiratory protection.

Avoid breathing material or vapours.

Wear appropriate protective gloves and goggles when handling

the substance or the preparation.

Storage: Store away from heat. Keep container closed when not in use.

Keep container in a well ventilated area.
