HPLC System: Agilent 1260 HPLC system
Column: EC 150/4.6 Nucleodur 100-5 CN-RP 150 x 4.6 mm; 5 1-1m
The analysis was performed on an analytical column packed with a commercially available cyanopropyl solid
phase containing lipophilic and polar moieties. A moderately polar stationary phase based on a silica matrix
was used (EC 150/4.6 Nucleodur 100-5 CN-RP 150 x 4.6 mm; 5 !Jm).
A of 55 % methanol I 45 % ultra-pure grade water was used as mobile phase and the column temperature
was 25°C ± 1 °C.

Remarks on result:
other: HPLC method
Remarks:
pH value not measured
Details on results (HPLC method):
The log Koc values were below the lowest used reference standard (log Koc of the lowest reference
standard phenol is 1.32). Therefore the repeatability could not be determined.
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The log Koc values were below the lowest used reference standard (log Koc of the lowest reference standard phenol is 1.32).
Therefore, the log Koc is < 1.32.
Executive summary:

The aim of this study was the determination of the adsorption coefficient of Acetoacetamide on soil and on sewage sludge (Koc) by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method according to EC method

C.19 (440/2008) and OECD guideline 121.

The analysis was performed on an analytical column packed with a commercially available cyanopropyl solid phase containing lipophilic and polar moieties. A moderately polar stationary phase based on a silica matrix

was used. A of 55 % methanol / 45 % ultra-pure grade water was used as mobile phase and the column temperature was 25°C ± 1 °C.

The log Koc values were below the lowest used reference standard (log Koc of the lowest reference standard phenol is 1.32).

Therefore, the log Koc is < 1.32.

Description of key information

The log Koc values were below the lowest used reference standard (log Koc of the lowest reference standard phenol is 1.32).

Therefore, the log Koc is < 1.32.
