Interpretation of results:
Category 1 (irreversible effects on the eye) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The substance is classified serious eye damage cat. 1, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
Executive summary:

As the substance was previously evaluated through an in vitro corrositex® assay, and was classified skin corrosive 1B, it shall be considered as leading to serious damage to the eyes (Category 1). In order to avoid testing for local effects on eyes with skin corrosive substances, the substance is classified serious eye damage cat. 1, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
