Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation: Move victim to fresh air. Seek medical treatment in case of troubles.
Following skin contact: Remove mechanically with cloth or paper. Thoroughly wash skin with soap and water.
After eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids
apart. In case of troubles or persistent symptoms, consult an opthalmologist.
After swallowing: Rinse mouth with water. Never give an unconscious person anything through the mouth.
Consult physician immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
No data available
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media::
Foam, extinguishing powder, carbon dioxide
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
Full water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.
In case of fire may be liberated: silicon dioxide, traces of incompletely burned carbon
compounds, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Additional information: Hazchem-Code: -
Accidental release measures
Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. Provide adequate ventilation. Wear
appropriate protective equipment.
Do not breathe vapour/aerosol. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Environmental precautions
Do not allow to penetrate into soil, waterbodies or drains.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Soak up with absorbent materials such as sand, siliceus earth, acid- or universal binder.
Store in special closed containers and dispose of according to ordinance.
Handling and storage
Advices on safe handling: When not in use, keep containers tightly closed.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
Provide adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapour.
Precautions against fire and explosion:
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storerooms and containers:
Keep container tightly closed in a cool place. Protect from humidity and water. Keep away
from heat sources, sparks and open flames. Store containers in upright position. Do not
drop, drag or bang the container. Do not weld. Do not re-use the empty container.

Body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
General protection and hygiene measures:
Keep away from heat sources, sparks and open flames.
Do not breathe vapour. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Work place should be equipped with a shower and an eye rinsing apparatus.
Wash hands before breaks and after work. Gargle with water.
Stability and reactivity
Moisture-sensitive.
Chemical stability
Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
No hazardous reaction when handled and stored according to provisions.
Conditions to avoid
Keep away from heat sources, sparks and open flames. Protect from humidity and water.
Incompatible materials
