Based on the flash point, the substance (low melting point solid) is non-flammable on ignition.
Based on experience in handling and use and molecular structure, the substance is neither pyrophoric, nor it liberates flammable gases on contact with water.
Based on the fact that the substance is completely molten at 160 °C, the substance is not demonstrating self-heating properties.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification. Based on flash point, the substance is not flammable on ignition. Based on experience in handling and use and molecular structure, the substance is neither pyrophoric, nor flammable on contact with water. Based on the melting point far below 160 °C, the substance does not demonstrate self-heating properties.
