Melting point / melting range: DSC measurement

Three DSC measurements with a heating rate of 10 K/min showed an endothermal effect (melting) in the temperature range of 190 – 215 °C. The onset temperature (seeTable1) was derived from the intersection of the tangent line with the highest slope of the endothermal peak with the baseline.

The first and the second DSC measurements showed an additional exothermal effect in the temperature range of 365 – 495 °C.

The results of the DSC measurements are summarized inTable 1.

Test item was a solidified yellow melt

The test item had a melting point of 203.2°C (mean onset temperature).

Boiling point / boiling range:DSC measurement

No endothermal effects were observed after the melting and before the exothermal effect. The DSC measurements showed therefore no boiling after the melting effect and before the decomposition started. It decomposed before boiling could occur. The

test item had no boiling point under atmospheric conditions.
Executive summary:

The test item Disperse Yellow 184.1 had a melting point of 203.2°C (mean onset temperature).

The test item Disperse Yellow 184.1 had no boiling point under atmospheric conditions. It decomposed before boiling could occur.
