Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Physico-chemical properties of the pure substance were determined from experimental testing. Some endpoints were waived, based on chemical structure and/or experience.
The substance is a solid at ambient temperature, with very low volatility.
In water, it is slightly soluble, with no surface-active properties.
It has low potential for bioaccumulation and aquatic chronic toxicity, based on CLP criteria.
NO physical hazard was identified, based on CLP criteria.

* it should be noted that the above physico-chemical data relate to the substance tested as pure, i.e. solid, for registration purpose, but it is currently neither handled nor placed on the market under this form. The powder is manufactured in closed conditions, with immediate dilution in solvent. At the date of submission of this dossier, the substance is marketed as a 10% solution in ethyl lactate. Therefore, granulometry and confirmatory testing for explosive potential were considered as not relevant.
