Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
adsorption / desorption
Type of information:
read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate)
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Read-across from an analogue substance for which a guideline study (Klimish 1) is available.
Reason / purpose for cross-reference:
read-across source
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Read-across approach from experimental data (study according to OECD Guideline 121) on an analogue substance P0310.
Key result
Type:
Koc
Value:
< 18
Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: Based on the read-across from an analogue substance.
Key result
Type:
log Koc
Value:
< 1.25
Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: Based on a read-across from an analogue substance.
Validity criteria fulfilled:
not applicable
Conclusions:
Based on read-across approach from experimental data on analogue substance P0310 (log KOC < 1.25), the substance P-1057 was determined to be a substance of high mobility.
Executive summary:

The determination of adsorption coefficient (KOC) of the test substance P0310 according to OECD 121, was estimated to be log KOC < 1.25 which is equal to a KOC value of < 18 using the HPLC method. This value indicates that the test substance is of high mobility. Based on this result, the read-across was apply and the substance P-1057 was determined also to be a substance of high mobiliy.

Description of key information
