Appearance:

On the basis of physical observation , test chemical1-chloro-3-nitrobenzenewas observed to be a brownish yellow crystals.

Melting point:

The melting point determination of Test chemical 1-chloro-3-nitrobenzene was done as per the test guideline OECD 102. The method followed was according to Capillary/metal block. The Mean melting temperature range was determine to be 44.66 °C - 50.33 °C at  hPa.

Boiling Point:

The boiling point of test chemical 1-chloro-3-nitrobenzene is 224°C at 977.8 hPa.

Density:

The density of test chemical 1-chloro-3-nitrobenzene was determined following OECD guideline 109 and according to OECD guideline 109 and according to the method adapted from ASTM D 854-02. The mean density of the test item was determine to be 1.249 g/cm³ at 20°C and 979.2 hPa.

Particle size distribution:

The particle size distribution of test chemical 1-chloro-3-nitrobenzene was determined by Granulometric analysis with Rotap sieve shaker. The particle size distribution was determined to be150 micron.

Vapour pressure:
