First-aid measures
SKIN CONTACT : Wash immediately and with water and soap. Change immediately any contaminated clothes. Consult a physician.
EYE CONTACT : Rinse immediately and abundantly with water during at least 15 minutes. Consult a physician.
INGESTION : Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, powder
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: water jet stick
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
- Hazardous combustion products: formation of CO, CO2
Advice for firefighters:
- Specific methods: containers away from fire area if it can be done without risk. Use appropriate extinguishing fire nearby. Containers cool with water spray. Use a spray or cloud the water to fall back to the ground the fumes if possible.
- Special fire equipment: Use an isolating autonomous respirator and protective clothing resistant to chemicals. Standard EN 943-2: Protective clothing against chemicals. Standard EN 137: isolating autonomous respirator .
Accidental release measures
Personal protective equipment, see section 8. Sweep up gently without raising dust and place in container for evacuation and destruction to an authorized. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel if necessary to safe areas.
Precautions for environmental protection:
Avoid spills or further leakage if possible safely. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning:
Gently sweep without raising dust and place in container for evacuation and destruction to an authorized
Handling and storage
Safety during use of the product: only those with the appropriate experience and training can handle this product. The substance must be handled in accordance with good industrial hygiene procedures and safety. Do not breathe dust.
Safety when handling the container: Protect containers from physical damage; do not drag, drop them. Do not remove or damage the labels placed to identify the contents of the container.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a well ventilated place at room temperature (20-25 ° C). The containers should be stored upright and secured to prevent falls. The containers in stock should be periodically checked for general condition and lack of degradation. Store containers in non-exposed areas in the fire risk and away from sources of heat and ignition. Observe all regulations and local requirements regarding storage of containers.
