Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Duration:
96 h
Dose descriptor:
LC50
Effect conc.:
> 7.9 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The toxicity against Danio rerio was tested using a static test design. The control and the
tested concentration showed no mortality. No abnormal behaviour of the surviving fish was
observed.
The content of the test item in the test solutions was estimated by calculation based on the
carbon content of the test item and TOC measurement. The measured concentration in the
test solutions was 9.0 mg/L at the beginning and 6.9 mg/L at the end of the test.
Therefore, the geometric mean of the measured concentration (7.9 mg/L) was used for evaluation
of the results.
No observations were made which might cause doubts concerning the validity of the study
outcome. All validity criteria were met.
The result of the test is considered valid.
