Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
The inhalation of dusts and aerosols is nearly excluded; Take the patient into the fresh air; if there is difficulty in breathing, medical advice is required.
Eyes: Contamination of the eyes must be treated by thorough irrigation with water, with the eyelids held open. Eventually a doctor (or eye specialist) should be consulted.
Skin: Cleansing with plenty of water, soap or other non-irritating cleansing agents.
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Ingestion: If the product is swallowed, the patient must at once drink water repeatedly, if possible with the addition of activated carbon. If the patient feels unwell, seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons: CO2
Product arising from burning: CO2, CO, H2O, NOx, SOx, HCl
Special protective equipment for firefighting: Firemen have to wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Avoid formation and deposition of dust.
Do not empty into drains or waters
Take up spilled product with dust-binding material or suitable vacuum cleaner. Fill into labelled, sealable containers.
If utilisation or recycling of the product is not possible, it should be disposed of according to the local regulations and laws, e. g. by incineration in a suitable plant.
Handling and storage
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Keep container tightly closed and dry.
Observe the usual precautionary measures required for chemicals with dust-explosive properties.
Storage: Store in original container in a cool, dry place.
In filling operations take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Personal protection:
Respiratory protection : Dust mask with particle filter.
Hand protection : Wear suitable gloves e.g. of PVC or nitrile rubber. In the event of contamination, change protective gloves immediately.
Eye protection : safety glasses with side protection shield
Body protection :
Wear protective clothing.

Special provisions / remarks
- Remarks:
"ENGLISH" The substance is no hazardous transport good. For the transport observe common precaution measures for this kind of substance, like package stack height, safeguard against falling and labelling accordingly. The substance is practically odourless. Protect substance from wetness and keep it away from food, tobaco and alcohol.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Ingredients with occupational exposure to be monitored: Not applicable
General protective measures: Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Inhalation of dust and aerosols must be absolutely prevented by either adequate ventilation or by a suitable mask. People with chronic respiratory problems should not work with reactive dyestuff powders. If symptoms such as tightness in the chest or asthma occur while handling reactive dyestuff powders, a physician should be consulted as soon as possible. If hypersensitivity is confirmed, all contact with reactive dyestuff powders must cease immediately.
Hygiene measures: Keep away from food and drink stuffs.
Do not eat, drink or smoke at work.
Wash hands before breaks and at end of work and use skin-protecting ointment.
Respiratory Protection: Dust mask with particle filter
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves e.g. PVC or nitrile rubber. In the event of contamination, change protective gloves immediately.
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side protection shield
Body protection: Wear protective clothing
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: none; the substance is stable in water and is applied in aqueous solution.
Dust explosion: The preparations are free from dust.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
