First-aid measures
Emergency Measure - Eyes: - In case of contact with eyes, irrigate with water for 10 minutes, occasionally lifting eyelids, and removing contact lenses if easy to do. Seek medical advice if irritation (pain, redness, or swelling) or other symptoms persist.
Emergency Measure - Skin: - Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation occurs. Launder contaminated clothing before re-use.
Emergency Measure - Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure. If swallowed, wash out mouth thoroughly and give water to drink. Seek immediate medical attention if ingested occurs. Do not induce vomiting, unless instructed by medical personnel. (Treat symptomatically).

Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) must be worn.
Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.
Avoid breathing smoke, fumes and decomposition products.
Accidental release measures
Evacuate personnel from immediate vicinity.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment conforming to the relevant national or international standards.
For the substance as such (not anticipated to be applicable under current supply route)
Avoid dust formation. Sweep up powder or absorb spillages of solutions with a suitable inert material (eg. sand or soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to waste containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine. Containers filled with waste material must be labelled in the same way as the original substance containers.
For the substance as imported into the EU as a component of a mixture
For large-scale spills, ensure full personal protection is worn. Keep unauthorised personnel from the spillage area.
Prevent product from entering water-courses or drainage system.
Stop the source of leak or release. Clean up spill as soon as possible. Small spills can be mopped up with cloth or paper. Collect larger spill using an inert sorbant, or pumping techniques. Place material in suitable container for disposal in accordance with local and national regulations.
Wash contaminated surfaces with water and detergent, and collect washings for safe disposal. Follow prescribed procedures for responding to large spills and reporting to appropriate authorities.
Dispose of waste material resulting from a spill in accordance with local regulations by incineration.
Handling and storage
The substance should be stored, handled and used under conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with any local regulations in order to avoid exposure.
Avoid prolonged contact with skin or eyes. Do not handle in a manner that creates excessive dust. Provide appropriate ventilation and secure container after each use.
Engineering controls are necessary to reduce exposure to the substance.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn. Such protective equipment should conform to the appropriate international or national standards as follows;

*Chemical protective clothing to Standard EN368
*Eye protection to Standard EN166.
Furthermore, when respiratory protective equipment has to be used, it must be capable of adequately controlling exposure, be suitable for the purpose, and conform to the appropriate international or national standards, such as a dust mask conforming to EN149 FFP1.
These measures should be regarded as minimum.
