First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Poisoning through inhalation is not envisaged.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.

Obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected areas immediately with soap and water after
removing contaminated clothing. Obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out the mouth and drink plenty of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: CO2, dry chemical and foam. Containers should be cooled with
water spray.

Product arising from burning: CO2 and H2O

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Goggles and gloves should be worn. Self-contained breathing
apparatus and full body protection will not be necessary.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Prevent spreading of spills with dikes, then absorb with
earth, sand, sawdust or similar material. Dispose of with
solid waste in accordance with instructions given in Section
6.1.3.


Persons dealing with spills should wear gloves and goggles.


Prevent spilled product from entering drinking water
supplies.

Handling and storage

Handling: Eyes should be protected with chemical safety goggles and

plastic face shields. Hands and body should be protected

using cuffed butyl rubber gloves, apron and boots.


Ventilation: Local exhaust.


Work/hygiene practices: Emergency showers and eye baths

are required.

Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry, well ventilated area.


Avoid open flames or other sources of ignition.


Packaging: One litre aluminium can and 32 or 200 litres

epoxicoated drums.
