Results and discussion
- Preliminary study:
- A visual observation of the sample over time indicates that the substance decomposes quite rapidly in water, after 24h. Analytical measurements indicate that the substance is stable for a duration of 24h (100% recovery at 24h) but starts to degrade after 24h. Then, the clear and transparent solution becomes cloudy indicating the degradation of the substance. At 48h, 10.7 % of the substance is recovered and at 72h only 8.5 % remain in the solution.

- Details on hydrolysis and appearance of transformation product(s):
- After 24 hours of dissolution in water, the clear and transparent solutions become cloudy. When the solution is injected in the chromatography analyzer, a degradation of the substance is observed.
This observation highlights the unstability of the substance in water between 24h and 48h.
