First-aid measures

1.Description of first aid measures

Immediately remove contaminated clothing. If the patient is likely to become unconscious, place and transport in stable sideways position (recovery position). First aid personnel should pay attention to their own safety.

If inhaled:

If difficulties occur after dust has been inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical attention.

On skin contact:

Immediately wash thoroughly with soap and water, seek medical attention.

On contact with eyes:

Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open.

On ingestion:

Rinse mouth immediately and then drink plenty of water, induce vomiting, seek medical attention.

Acute toxicity

Assessment of acute toxicity:

Virtually nontoxic after a single ingestion. Virtually nontoxic after a single skin contact. Virtually nontoxic by inhalation. The product has not been fully tested. The statements have been derived in parts from products of a similar structure or composition.

Experimental/calculated data:

LD50 rat (oral): > 5,000 mg/kg (OECD Guideline 401)

No mortality was observed.

LC50 rat (by inhalation): > 5.9 mg/l 4 h

Assessment of reproduction toxicity:

The potential to impair fertility cannot be excluded when given at maternally toxic doses. The results were determined in a Screening test (OECD 421/422).

The results of animal studies gave indication of a developmental toxic/teratogenic effects with high doses. The results were determined in a Screening test (OECD 421/422).

Specific target organ toxicity (single exposure)

Assessment of STOT single:

Based on the available information there is no specific target organ toxicity to be expected after a single exposure.
