Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance consists of non-fibrous irregular shaped particles. The particle size distribution lies between 1 and 400 μm with > 50 % w/w lying at over 150 μm.

Additional information

The granulometry of the substance was measured using two methods (gravimetry and SEM). The particle size distribution of the substance lay between 1 and 400 μm, with over 50% of the substance being > 150 μm. Therefore, the particle size distribution indicates that the % w/w particles in the nano range (1-100 nm as per EU Commission definition of nanomaterials) is insignificant (< 1%) and the registrant does not consider this substance a nanomaterial.

The granulometry result was compared with three samples of a formulation of the substance and these closely match the results of the title substance.
