The Dissociation Constants in Water (Titration Method)of the test item4-METHYL-3-THIOSEMICARBAZIDEwas studied according to the OECD guideline 112. During the analysis,the temperature was 20 +/- 0.3 °C.
The pH of the 1.05 g/L of4-METHYL-3-THIOSEMICARBAZIDE was 6.06.
Titration curves of this solution either by a solution of NaOH 0.1 mole/L or by a solution of HCl 0.1 mole/L did not show any equivalence point. Moreover, titration curves are very similar to those obtained when titrating ultrapure water either with NaOH or HCl.
It can be concluded that in the conditions of the test,no pK can be determined for 4-METHYL-3-THIOSEMICARBAZIDE
