Results and discussion
Results of examinations
- Details on results:
- Clinical observations:
"ENGLISH"
No premature mortalities occurred. The body weight of the
animals from the high-dose group was reduced (significantly
in the case of the male animals).
Laboratory findings:
"ENGLISH"
The following clinico-chemical changes were established
among the animals from the high-dose group: reduction in the
glucose values (males), increase in serum creatine,
bilirubin, triglycerides, alkaline phosphatase and a
decrease in the chloride values for males and females and
an increase in the alanine aminotransferase among the
females. In the case of the animals from the recovery group,
with the exception of the glucose values, all of the values
were inconspicuous.
Effects in organs:
geringer.
Histologisch ergaben sich keine substanzbedingten
Veränderungen.
"ENGLISH"
The absolute organ weights of the pituitary gland, heart and spleen and the relative organ weights of the pituitary gland
and liver were significantly reduced among the females; in
the case of the male animals, the absolute brain weight was
significantly lower.
Histologically, there were no substance-related changes.
