Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Determination of spectral data and physico-chemical properties followed OECD guidelines.
Qualifier:

Guideline:
OECD Test Guideline 114 (Viscosity of Liquids)
Deviations:
not specified
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The viscosity of the liquids is measured using a stress-controlled rotational rheometer (Paar-Physica UDS 200) fitted with a concentric cylinder system. Samples with low viscosities are measured with a double-gap (22.25/22.75; 23.5/24.0 mm) system whereas high viscosity liquids are measured with a cone plate or single gap (12.5/13.56 mm) device. A few measurements are conducted over a shear rate range between 1 and 100 s-1. When the flow is Newtonian (i.e. the viscosity is independent of shear rate), which is usually the case for acrylate resins, the viscosity is returned at 20 or 100 s-1. The temperature is 23.0 °C and is controlled within 0.1°C.
