First-aid measures
Inhalation : Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Skin contact : Wash off with soap and water. If skin irritation occurs, seek medical advice/attention.
Eye contact : Flush affected eyes with plenty of water immediately and call a physician.
Ingestion : Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media : Dry sodium chloride dry sand. Special powder against metal fire.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Water. Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Specific hazards during firefighting: Contact with water leads to formation of hydrogen fluoride.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information : Prevent fire extinguishing water from contaminating surface water or the ground water system.
