Conclusion on classification

Based on the lowest acute EC50 for Daphnia which is between 1 and 10 mg/L and the substance is not rapidly degradable Pamplefleur should be classified R51/53 according to the DSD 67/548/EC and H411 (aquatic chronic 2) according to the CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008. According to the CLP Amendment (30.3.2011) in case 1 or 2 chronic values are available also classification on chronic data has to be considered. When taking into account the only available NOEC for algae Pamplefleur would not be classified as the substance is not rapidly degradable, but has a NOEC/EC10 > 1 mg/L. However, in that case the worst case has to be taken meaning that Pamplefleur should be classified as H411 based on acute data.
