Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove exposed person to fresh air. Get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Hold eyelids apart and flush with running water for at least
15 minutes. Get medical attention if signs of irritation
develop.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing.Wash with water for at least 15
minutes. If irritation persists seek medical attention
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash with water and drink much water. Seek medical attention
immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, CO2, or dry powder.
A dedicated empty tank of 1000 mc capacity is available at
site for extinguishing agents.
Product arising from burning: NxOy
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear self-contained breathing
apparatus, flame resistant clothing , boots and gloves.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Limit access to spill area. Wearing suitable protective
clothing and equipment, collect material to minimize dust
generation; use wet mop, damp sponge or wet/dry HEPA vacuum
.Place collected material into a suitable container for
disposal. Ventilation has to be available. After material
has been removed from spill area, clean area.
Handling and storage
Handling: Engineering controls in the form of local exhaust
ventilation are provided . When engineering controls are not
sufficient to control dust exposure approved respiratory
protection in conformance with EN136 standard should be
worn. For manufacturing areas , skin protection should be
provided in the form of full suits (conforming to standard
EN374) along with impermeable gloves. Rubber, neoprene or
other gloves may be required if solvents, corrosives or
other chemicals are present. Chemical safety glasses should
be worn if a full face respirator is not being worn. All
safety and handling information is provided to the employees
through standard operating procedures, batch records and
training.
Storage: Stored in double polyethylene bags, inside a plastic drum.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The subsatnce is packaged in UN approved plastic drums.
