Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: If symptomatic, move to fresh air. Treat symptomatically.
Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Any material that contacts the eye should be washed out
immediately with water. Get medical attention if symptoms
occur.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with soap and water. Get medical attention if
symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water spray, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical
Product arising from burning: Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides,
oxides of copper
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective
clothing. Fire or excessive heat may produce hazardous
decomposition products. Use water spray to cool
unopened containers.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Avoid dust
formation. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin,
and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Wash
thoroughly after handling.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from
incompatible substances such as strong oxidizing
agents.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: For wide format commercial applications, the ink will
be supplied in three formats:
(1) sealed bottles with a septum < 1 litre in volume;
(2) in openable bottles < 1 litre in volume; or
(3) in sealed cartridges < 1 litre in volume.
An additional packaging configuration could be a
solution in a sealed printing system head containing
less than 20 mL of solution. The concentration in all
four potential applications would likely be less than
or equal to 5% of the notified dye mixture.
For the consumer household use, the ink will be in
sealed cartridges containing less than 50 mL of ink.
The concentration of the notified dye mixture in this
application will likely be at less than or equal to
5% in concentration. An additional packaging
configuration for the household could be a sealed
printing system head containing < 20 mL of solution.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Fire or high temperatures may cause decomposition.
Dust may form explosive mixture in air.
Keep away from heat. Exercise caution if heating,
especially in a closed container. Dust may form
explosive mixture in air. Minimize dust generation
and accumulation. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep
away from sources of ignition.
Chemical reaction with water: None reported
Dust explosion: There are no data or experience indicating this
substance presents a dust explosion hazard; however
no testing has been conducted to characterize its
dust explosibility properties. Fines of this
substance, like those of many organic dusts, may be
capable of forming explosible dust clouds in air.
Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Keep away
from sources of ignition. Use adequate ventilation.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: The environmental releases of the substance during
relevant life-cycles were estimated using default
release factors and industry information from the EU
Technical Guidance Document (TGD). Estimated emissions
were based upon the maximum Level VIIB imported tonnage
of 1 tpa. The substance will be imported as product
units prepared for customer use, therefore environmental
release from production and formulation activities will
not occur. It is expected that environmental releases,
if any, would result from discarding contaminated
product containers.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: No anticipated direct release to environment.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: The environmental releases of the substance during
