Description of key information

There are three chronic terrestrial toxicity studies available with the structural analogue substance CAS 6731 -36 -8:

The OECD 222 earthworm reproduction test determined reproduction as the most sensitive endpoint with a NOEC of 52.9 mg/kg soil dw.

The OECD 216 toxicity to soil microrganisms (Nitrogen transformation test) determined a NOEC of 1000 mg ai /kg soil dw.

The OECD 208 the Terrestrial Plant Test determined the most sensitive species as onion and the most sensitive endpoint as germination with a NOEC of 111.1 mg ai /kg soil dw.

The earthworm reproduction endpoint will therefore be used for PNEC determination as the most sensitive species.
