The value for sample 5 is not an outlier (Dixon test).
Samples 1-6 mean value of 94 mg/L; std. dev. 6 mg/L; rel. std. dev. 6 %.
Samples 9 -12 mean value of 101 mg/L; std. dev. 0.7 mg/L; rel. std. dev 0.7 %.
The first 3 duplicate sets of samples (1-6) showed a slight tendency of increasing concentration values. The second 3 duplicate sets of samples (9-12) also showed a slight tendency of increasing concentration values.
In the case of the last 2 duplicate sets (after 120 hr and 168 hr) there is only a minimal difference of 1 mg/l ≈ 1 % in relation to the final result. In this case it is considered that the plateau for the water solubility is reached. Therefore, the final result is calculated with the mean values derived from the 120 hr and the 168 hr samples. The mean value after 72 hr was not taken into account for the final calculation. From further testing with again prolonged test periods no further information could be expected.
