Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if
recovery is not rapid.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15
minutes.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush affected areas with water and wash with soap and
water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use foam, dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide or water
spray.
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus
with full face piece and protective clothing in the event of
a fire.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Ensure that personal protective equipment is worn. Collect
substance up as much as possible, for eventual disposal.
Contaminated clothing, packaging should be collected in a
plastic bag and disposed of by incineration.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear appropriate personal protective clothing, which
includes impervious gloves, full clothing, safety goggles
with side shields or chemical splash proof goggles. Avoid
circumstances which produce respirable circumstances unless
suitable ventilation and respirator (NIOSH/MSHA approved
respiratory protection) are used.
Storage: Store in a suitable, labelled container. Keep containers
tightly closed and upright. Keep away from heat and sources
of ignition.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 1 litre plastic bottles.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: During normal use, the test substance cannot be recycled.
Recovery of the substance and subsequent re-use is not
practical without compromising the properties of the test
substance. The test substance is used in high purity
applications.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is the preferred method.(code 660)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
