The Freezing Point of test substance was observed to be less than -8.9 °C at 980.8 hPa.

Boiling pointT

he boiling temperature of test substance was determined to be 186°C at 979.1 hPa

Density

The density of test substance was determined to be 0.96 g/cm3at 20 °C and 979.5 hPa

Particle size distribution(Granulometry)

the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is marketed or used in a non solid or granular form

Vapour pressure

The vapour pressure of test substance is 0.00189 Pa at 25 deg C

Partition coefficient

The Log Powvalue was found to be 2.028±0.010 at 25°C.the substance is hydrophillic in nature

Water solubility

Th water solubility value of test substance was determined to be 4449 mg/L at 25±2°C.

Surface tension

The test substance has surface tension of 106 mN/m

Flash point

The flash point of test substance was determined to be 131.3 °C at 978.3 hPa .

Auto flammability

Test substance did not catch fire on being exposed to air at room temperature of 27°C pressure of 966 hPa. This indicates that test chemical is not auto-flammable.

Flammability

Flash point of test substance was determined to be 131.3°C . On the basis of GHS classification criteria, test chemical has flash point > 60°C hence the test chemical was considered to be non flammable.

Explosiveness

In accordance with column 2 of the Annex VII of the REACH regulation, the study does not need to be conducted since there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule of test chemical . Thus, the chemical is not likely to be explosive and has been considered non-explosive for the purpose of chemical safety assessment.

Oxidising properties

the study does not need to be conducted because the organic substance contains oxygen or halogen atoms which are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

pH

The experimental pH value for 1% aqueous solution of test substance was observed to be 10.78 at 24.6 °C ,inferring its  basic nature

Viscosity

The kinematic viscosity (experimental) at 200C and 400C was determined to be 78.37 mm2/sec and 74.91 mm2/sec, respectively.

The dynamic viscosity (calculated) at 200C and 400C was determined to be 75.24 mPa.S and 71.92 mPa.S. respectively
