Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The density of the test sample is determined to be 1.384 g/cm3 at 20 °C.

The relative density (D204) of the test sample is determined to be 1.384.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.384

Additional information

Several GLP studies were conducted. They all determined the relative density of the substance to be in the same range.

All studies were conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals. 109: "Density of Iiquids and solids" using an air comperision pyknometer.

For the pure substance the relative density of the test item was determined to be 1.384 (1.384 g/cm3 at 20 °C).

For the technical grade of the substance the relative density was determined to be 1.374 (1.374 g/cm3 at 20 °C) and 1.395 (1.395 g/cm3 at 20 °C).

The value which originates from the study on the pure substance (1.384 (1.384 g/cm3at 20 °C)) was chosen as key value for the relative density.
