Description of key information
From source key study, the overall long-term NOEC for the soil macroorganisms except arthropods (Eisenia fetida) is ≥10 mg a.i./kg dry weight soil.
From a supporting study, the LC50 for the soil macroorganisms except arthropods (Eisenia fetida) is 29 mg/kg dry weight soil.

Data on the toxicity of the substance tosoil macroorganisms except arthropods are not available. In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex XI, 1.5. , the assessment is based on the structurally analogue substance (CAS 1689-99-2).Please refer to the attached analogue justification for further details on the read-across approach.
In this key source study (2011), the chronic toxicity of test susbtance to earthworms (Eisenia fetida) was investigated after 56-day exposure according to OECD 222 guideline. Ten earthworms, in each replicate, were exposed to a concentration of 1.0, 1.78, 3.17, 5.64 and 10.0 mg a.s./kg soil dry weight, alongside with a control. The reproduction NOEC was determined to be≥10 mg a.s./kg dry weight soil, the highest concentration tested.
Additionally in a supportive study (1999), the acute toxicity of test susbtance to earthworms (Eisenia fetida) was investigated after 14-day exposure according to OECD 207 guideline. The earthworms were exposed to a concentration of 10, 18, 32, 56, and 100 mg/kg soil dry weight, alongside with a control. The LC50(14-d) was determined to be29 mg/kg dry weight soil.
