First-aid measures
4.1. Description of first aid measures
First-aid measures after inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.
First-aid measures after skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after eye contact: Immediately rinse with water for a prolonged period while holding the eyelids wide open. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after ingestion: If the person is conscious, rinse the mouth with plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. In case of malaise consult a doctor.
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms/effects: The product contains no substances known to be hazardous to health in concentrations which need to be taken into account. Consult a doctor/medical service if you feel unwell.
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
The health surveillance of workers is provided in accordance with Article 10 of Directive 98/24 / EC (Title IX of Legislative Decree 81/2008), depending on the nature of the risk. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, consult a doctor or a Poison Center immediately (show the safety data sheet if possible). Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
5.1. Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray. dry chemical powder, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use a heavy water stream.
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire: During a fire, smoke may contain COx, NOx and unidentified toxic and/or irritating compounds.
5.3. Advice for firefighters
Precautionary measures fire: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete protective clothing.
Cool containers exposed to fire with water spray, even after the flames have been switched off. Remove containers from the fire area if this can be done safely.
Accidental release measures
6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
6.1.1. For non-emergency personnel
Protective equipment: Wear the Personal Protective Equipment indicated in the emergency procedures. PPE must comply with EN standards.
Emergency procedures: Evacuate area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
6.1.2. For emergency responders
Protective equipment: Wear appropriate protective equipment (see section 8) to minimize exposure to the product.
6.2. Environmental precautions
Do not allow to enter drains or water courses. Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Methods for cleaning up: Shovel or sweep up and put in a closed container for disposal.
6.4. Reference to other sections
For further information refer also to sections 8 and 13.
