First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
First-aid measures after inhalation: Move the affected person away from the contaminated area and into the fresh air. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
First-aid measures after skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing at the same time all contaminated clothes. In case of redness or irritation, call a doctor.
First-aid measures after eye contact: Immediately rinse with water for a prolonged period while holding the eyelids wide open. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth out with water. Get immediate medical advice/attention.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms/effects after skin contact: Irritation.
Symptoms/effects after eye contact: Eye irritation.
Symptoms/effects after ingestion: Gastrointestinal complaints.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray. Foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry powder.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire: Carbon oxides (CO, CO2). Nitrogen oxides. Hydrogen chloride.
Advice for firefighters
Firefighting instructions: Cool down the containers exposed to heat with a water spray. Prevent fire fighting water from entering the environment.
Protection during firefighting: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
For non-emergency personnel
Emergency procedures: Only qualified personnel equipped with suitable protective equipment may intervene. Avoid creating or spreading dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
For emergency responders
Protective equipment: For further information refer to section 8: "Exposure controls/personal protection".
Emergency procedures: Ventilate spillage area.
Environmental precautions
Do not allow product to spread into the environment. Notify authorities if liquid enters sewers or public waters.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For containment: Sweep up or vacuum up the product. Put into a labelled container and provide safe disposal.
Other information: Dispose of materials or solid residues at an authorized site.
Reference to other sections
Concerning disposal elimination after cleaning, see section 13.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Precautions for safe handling: Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid the formation or spread of dust in the atmosphere.
Hygiene measures:
Do not drink, eat or smoke in the workplace. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work.
7.2. Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage conditions: Store in dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed when not in use. Keep away from heat. Protect from moisture.
Special rules on packaging: Keep only in original container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls
Appropriate engineering controls: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas. Use personal protective equipment that is clean and properly maintained. Store personal protective equipment in a clean place away from the work area.
Hand protection: Protective gloves. The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of EC directive 89/686/EEC and the resultant standard EN 374. In case of solution or mixture with other substances and/or conditions different from EN 374, please contact the supplier of EC certified gloves.
(on significant contact or if there is a risk of splashes: nitrile rubber, permeation 6, thickness 0.11 mm, standard EN374)
Eye protection: Sealed safety goggles (EN 166)
Skin and body protection: Protective clothing. Safety foot-wear. Personnel shall wear regularly laundered overalls
Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. The contractor must ensure that the maintenance, the cleaning and the control of respiratory protection devices are performed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. These measures must be properly documented. ((respiratory protective device with a particle filter type P2, standard EN 143).
Environmental exposure controls: Avoid release to the environment. Avoid sub-soil penetration.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: To our knowledge, the product does not present any particular risk, under normal conditions of use.
Chemical stability: Stable at ambient temperature and under normal conditions of use.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known under normal conditions of use.
Conditions to avoid: Moisture.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizers.
Hazardous decomposition products: Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous decomposition products should not be produced.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods: Dispose of in accordance with relevant local regulations.
Additional information: Empty the packaging completely prior to disposal. Recycle or dispose of in compliance with current legislation.
