- In the event of fire CO, POx, PH3 may be formed.

- Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.

Advice for firefighters :

- Special protective equipment for firefighters: Standard procedure for chemical fires. In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Wear protective suit.

- Specific methods : Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Accidental release measures

Advice for non-emergency personnel :

Environmental precautions:

- Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system.

- Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up :

- Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).

- Keep in suitable and closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling :

- Ensure there is sufficient ventilation.

- Wear protective gloves and goggles.
